Great app but the camera isnt scanning

My daughter loves this app. She plays it all the time. She scans her ponies and everything. About a week ago the camera in the app stopped working. Its just gray when she tries to scan a host or guests. Its also gray when she goes to take a picture at a party. I checked my camera on the iPad and it works fine. Its just the camera in the app. Anyone else have this issue?? Please help!
